The pallet wrapper automates wrapping by applying a stretch film around a palletised load to provide stability and containment. The process involves placing the palletised load on the machine’s turntable, which can be done manually or with the help of a forklift or conveyor system.
Efficient Film Usage with Uniform Wrapping
The stretch film roll is mounted on a film carriage that dispenses the film. The film is pulled from the roll and wrapped around the load as the turntable rotates. The film is stretched during the application, tightly securing the load.
After wrapping, the film is cut and secured to the load using heat sealing, adhesive tape, or tucking it under previous layers. Once completed, the palletised load can be removed from the machine and prepared for shipping or storage.
