ShockWatch Label

ShockWatch label is an impact indicator that prevents mishandling and minimises damage-related costs. These packaging indicators alert when fragile products have been subjected to potentially damaging impacts during transit or storage.

Impact indicators are tamperproof, mechanically activated devices that change colour to bright red upon impact. The labels exhibit an omnidirectional response to impacts.

Shock indicator labels are available in five colours, each representing a specific sensitivity measured in g forces. Users can ensure optimal protection by matching the impact label’s sensitivity to the product’s non-operating shock and packaging specifications.

Reliable Impact Monitoring

The circular indicator at the centre of the label remains white if the package has not been mishandled. However, in the event of mishandling, the indicator will display full or partial red colouration.

Any presence of red in the impact indicators’ window serves as a warning to receivers, indicating the need to thoroughly inspect the package for potential damage.

Receivers should assess any visible damage upon receiving a shipment with an activated mishandling label. It is recommended to open the package and conduct a thorough inspection of the goods.

QR Version Available

ShockWatch Label is also available in a QR-enabled version, providing enhanced impact monitoring and shipment visibility. By scanning the QR code with a smartphone, users can capture impact condition information together with location, time, and serial number. This creates a digital record that supports handling verification, product safety, and damage investigations throughout the supply chain.
