Nitrogen-enhanced purging system 1900 is rack mounted and purges equipment using nitrogen, eliminating oxygen and humidity. The unit can be easily operated by connecting the equipment and inlet to a dry gas source. By employing a single connection, the purged gas can be controlled, thus preventing the formation of unconditioned gas pockets within the equipment.

Additionally, the purge gas can be isolated during the depressurisation purging phase. Users can configure settings and choose between displaying dew point measurements in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit. These measurements are shown on highly visible liquid displays, providing constant and accurate data.

The nitrogen purging system is equipped with built-in leak testing functions, ranging from 10.3 Kpa (1.5 psi) to 34.4 Kpa (5.0 psi), and offers a pressure leak rate display resolution of 0.01 psi. The gas testing function can be utilised to assess the gas quality before initiating the purging process.

Operating within the voltage range of 100 to 230 VAC at a frequency of 50 – 60 Hz, the purging system is suitable for various applications, such as electronic housings, image intensifiers, and optical and surveillance devices.
