Easy Maintenance and Durable Construction

One notable feature of the heavy-duty desiccant breathers is the removable desiccant container. This container allows for easy desiccant replacement without disconnecting the breather pipe. It is securely held between the top and bottom end plates using four metal tie rods with threaded nuts.

The desiccant in the container can be easily removed and refilled as required by releasing the nuts. The removable desiccant breather is built using mild steel and protected with a phosphate and powder coat finish to ensure long-lasting performance.

It also features a UV-stabilized polycarbonate clear window, providing clear visibility of the desiccant charge. The top and bottom end plates are made of painted aluminium castings, adding to their durability.

Moisture Protection and Durable Construction

Industrial-sized transformer breathers can be easily connected using a flange or pipe thread. Additionally, the top plate includes mounting brackets that provide extra support for the breather.

To maintain optimal functionality, two-way, low-pressure valves are installed in the base plate of the breather. These valves allow atmospheric air to enter the desiccant chamber when negative pressure differentials occur within the protected equipment.
