VCI Specialty Solutions are used for purposes that include lubricant, wash, final rinse, protection of closed systems (tanks, boilers, piping), and general metalworking applications.
The Nox-Rust 5400 is a rust preventive oil, incorporated with petroleum additives. Used as a wash, the solution leaves behind a lubricant and corrosion preventive film that does not interfere with assembly sealers, adhesives, painting, welding, and cleaning solutions. Easily removable by conventional cleaning methods, the Nox-Rust 5400 is also approved for use as a lubricant/preservative on sheet and coil sheet by major automotive manufacturers.
The Nox-Rust 7100 is a general-purpose, water-displacing stamping oil. The oil is a necessary solution needed for companies with a stamping operation using water-based cutting fluids. These include companies that manufacture springs, machine tools, compressors, gears, driveshafts, precision parts, watch components, taps, drills, and parts for refrigeration, aviation, and transportation.
The transparent oil repels residual cutting fluids and will not clog stamping dies, which is a crucial benefit. It is also non-staining, another important quality for in-plant or cross plant processing. After application, it dries to a soft dry film which is barely noticeable, except for the sparkling luster it puts on treated metal. To apply the Nox-Rust 7100, users can dip, spray or brush. In most scenarios, removal is not necessary.
Known as the best all-purpose lubricant, the Nox-Rust 7800 not only provides temporary corrosion protection but is also able to un-seize a stubborn not to keep machines running smoothly.
Water displacing, low viscosity lubricant, and a corrosion preventive liquid, the Nox-Rust 7800 helps to protect both ferrous and non-ferrous parts during storage and covered transit at low film thickness. No mixing or preparation is needed. Compatible with barium lube grease and an excellent lubricating oil for assembly parts, the 7800 is also capable of creeping and penetrating into very tight and hard-to-reach spaces, while remaining fluid at -70°F, making it applicable for the military as a gun oil for firearms in cold climates. The lubricating oil is also ideal in transit and transportation industries, machined parts, and even routine maintenance shop use.
To use the Nox-Rust 7800, apply it by spray, dip, or brush. If removal is required, use a hot alkaline wash, mineral spirits, or high-pressure steam.
An all-purpose, water-displacing corrosion inhibitor additive for final stage rinse, the Nox-Rust 9300 retards corrosion during shipment and storage of machine parts, tools, treated steel and assembles. The corrosion inhibitor can be diluted with water or petroleum solvent and applied by spray, dip, or brush.
The Nox-Rust 9700 is a synthetic, water-based rust preventive final and in-process additive, designed to remove dirt and debris from steel before mill oils are applied. Add to cutting fluids, metalworking fluids, or final stage rinse. It is water-displacing and compatible with zinc and copper.
