Securely Seal Corrugated Boxes
Water-activated or gummed tapes are adhesive tapes made from natural materials like paper or potato starch. When exposed to moisture, these tapes become sticky, offering strong adhesion and increased strength.
Gummed tape dispensers are suitable for packing operations that involve medium to high volumes or require sealing cartons of varying sizes. These dispensers can pack over 50 packages per day. They dispense a pre-determined length of gummed tape by pressing a button.
Enhanced Adhesion and Strength
Water-activated reinforced or non-reinforced kraft paper tape utilises two strips to seal the top and bottom of cartons effectively. It secures lightweight to medium-weight cartons weighing up to 24 pounds (11kg).
To preserve the quality of paper tapes, store them in a clean and dry location, free from volatile solvents. Maintain a recommended storage temperature between 4° and 26°C while ensuring a humidity level of 40% to 50%.
