ShockWatch 2

ShockWatch 2 impact packaging indicators prevent mishandling and effectively minimise product damage. The indicator provides clear indications when products have encountered potentially damaging impacts during transit and it is also well-suited for larger and heavier items. The labels are bi-directional vertical response impact indicators.

Impact Packaging Indicators

These impact indicators are affixed to the external packaging of a shipment and visually signal to handlers that the package requires careful handling. If mishandling occurs during transit or handling, the ShockWatch 2 indicators are able to provide a permanent record of the incident.

If a package has not been mishandled, the top or bottom window of the shock detector will remain white. However, if mishandling occurs, the top or bottom window will be red. The presence of any red in either of the impact sensor windows notifies recipients to inspect the package for potential damage.

Shock Indicators to Prevent Damages

The shock sensors are available in seven sensitivities, distinguished by seven colours. Select the appropriate impact indicator sensitivity level based on the product and packaging’s capacity to withstand non-operating shocks specified by the manufacturer or choose a shock indicator based on the mass and size of the shipment.

QR Version Available

ShockWatch 2 is also available in a QR-enabled version that allows users to digitally document impact events throughout transit. By scanning the QR code with a smart device, users can record impact event data along with the corresponding location, time and serial number, creating a traceable digital record that supports handling verification, accountability, and damage investigations.
