Gusset pouches are a flexible packaging solution that enhances the volume and structural integrity of the pouch. This packaging option is available in two forms: a side gusset pouch, where the gusset is added to the side, and a bottom gusset pouch, where the gusset is added to the bottom.

Gusset pouches are available at the side, round bottom, k-seal bottom, and plow bottom gussets bags for different packaging requirements. Side gusset pouches can be used for coffee, tea, and snacks.

Adding a gusset on the side increases the pouch’s capacity for storage, maximising its volume. Furthermore, this design allows the pouch and its contents to be displayed vertically or horizontally on store shelves, providing flexible aesthetic appeal to consumers.

Enhance Volume and Structural Integrity

The round bottom gusset is suitable for packing products weighing less than 500 grams, while the k-seal and plow bottom gusset are for products weighing more than 500 grams. The key distinction between the k-seal and plow bottom is that the plow bottom is typically used for packaging flour and sugars.
