Insulated Box Liners
Insulated box liners, also known as thermal boxes or coolers, are packaging containers that maintain the temperature of their contents. It can keep items cold or hot for an extended period. The insulated boxes provide thermal insulation, preventing heat transfer between the contents of the box and the surrounding environment.
Consistent Temperature Control
Insulated boxes are made from materials with high thermal resistance, such as foam, plastic, or metal. The cooler box walls are usually thick and filled with insulating materials, such as expanded polystyrene (EPS) or polyurethane foam, which help reduce heat transfer through conduction.
The freezer box’s insulation properties help minimise the heat exchange between the contents and the outside environment. Cold storage boxes also help to keep products cold by preventing the entry of warm air and reducing heat transfer from the surroundings. Similarly, putting hot items in the insulated box helps retain their temperature by preventing heat loss to the surroundings.
Preserving Product Integrity
Insulated boxes serve a wide range of purposes, from transporting perishable food items and storing temperature-sensitive medication to keeping beverages cool during outdoor activities. Thermal barrier bags are also essential for shipping temperature-sensitive goods across long distances. In the retail industry, insulated containers are commonly paired with dry ice or ice gel packs to ensure optimal product preservation.
