ShockLog® Satellite

ShockLog® Satellite combines the flagship ShockLog® 298 impact recorder with a satellite communication module for impact recording, real-time reporting, and asset location. The system is preprogrammed with parameters optimised for the asset.

Comprehensive Data Monitoring

The vibration data logger has a user-programmable impact scale and frequency filters. It monitors, and reports impact events, vibration, internal temperature, peak value (time slot), and summary period journey profile data.

If the impact data logger loses satellite communication during an event, the data will still be recorded and available for download and analysis after the trip. No matter how far away the asset is from the control centre, tri-axial impact data is provided to understand the current state of the assets.

Real Time Location Updates and Alerts

Unacceptable conditions encountered during the journey are identified, and location updates are provided every four hours through mail or text alerts. With this information, immediate action can be taken before the shipment is received, or remediation can be planned before the final installation of the asset in the field.
