Desiccant Polymer (VMAP)


VMAP or Versatile Moisture Absorbing Polymer is a unique desiccant. The desiccant made from a blend of desiccant crystals comprising 40% polymer and 60% sieve. VMAP absorbs odours, organic volatile chemical gases, and moisture and best used in an enclosed environment. Due to the composition of this polymer-based desiccant, its shape customized according to the application, and it fits easily even within complex shapes and available space.

VMAP offers a practical alternative to the regular desiccant bags and minimizes the risk of dust contamination and fibre loss, which makes it an excellent option for applications that need high cleanliness levels like electronics, semiconductors, sensors, medical equipment, optics, circuit boards, storage containers and many others. It can operate effectively in temperatures ranging from – 40 degrees C to 90 degrees C.
