Bubble Wrap, also known as Bubble Roll or Bubble pack, is a impact packaging solution to ensure that fragile products are kept damage-free from impact during transportation. Easy to use with little to no training required, the Bubble Roll is a cost-effective and reusable tool which is wrapped around the product with the air-filled bubble pack facing the inside to ensure that products remain in place.
How is Bubble Wrap Made?
Bubble Wrap are made from small beads of resin, similar to the shape of rice or pea gravels. These resins are usually in polyethene material which is then poured into an extruder with a high temperature of 450 °C to 500 °C, essential for converting the resin into films. The films then pass through a series of rollers to achieve the desired thickness, then through a cylinder designed with numerous tiny denting holes to give the film its “bubble” shape. Last but not least, the film enters a final series of roller for cooling and creating bonds with multiple layers.
Here in Humi Pak, we offer bubbles packs of different sizes to provide you with varying degrees of protection. These bubbles are available in 6mm, 10mm, 25mm and 30mm.
